Athletic Philosophy

The New Creation Center athletic program serves as an extension of the classroom and the home schooled athlete. The NCC experience not only enhances but also reinforces the objectives of New Creation Center: to provide an envronment for Christian-based athletics and competition, prepare each athlete for Christian life, and support the family as the primary social and educational unit through parental involvement.

Athletic Objectives

To provide student athletes with the opportunity:

     ● to develop their physical talents to their maximum potential
     ● to engage in competitive activities
     ● to exemplify good sportsmanship as a means for learning good citizenship
     ● to experience working as a member of a team in order to achieve a goal
     ● to experience self-discipline and sacrifice as a means for achieving a goal
     ● to understand and practice the principles of sound health, safety, and physical fitness
     ● to engage in competitive experiences in an acceptable manner
     ● to have a positive rallying point for school in order to help them develop school loyalty

New Creation Center offers a wide variety of high school athletics. We are a member of the Independent Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama (ICSGA) and the Georgia Football League (GFL) Athletic Associations.

NCC strives to offer a competitive high school athletic program, therefore tryouts are generally required. Students are not guaranteed a position on the teams.

For some of our sports, summer camps are mandatory and all are highly recommended for students who wish to tryout for a team. It is important that students check this website and our newsletter often for updated information regarding the sport in which they want to participate.

Athletes earn letters beginning 9th grade.
